Rt. 120, just east of Ridgway by Extreme Performance

Ridgway, PennsylvaniaJun 03, 20100 Comments

There is a strait stretch of road about 1mile in length that sets between two hard curves that is 40mph, but most people drive faster since it is pretty much a rural road. Before you can come out of either of these curves, the Staties already have you. Most people caught are driving west into Ridgway where the speed limit before this area is 55mph.

219 north

heading north on 219 leaving ridgway on the way to johnsonburg after you pass the concrete place (Kennedy’s) you go about a half mile or so then you come to a big curve in the road bearing right, there is a logging type road about 200yards on the right (same side of road)it is pretty well hidden, they back into it and are well covered,so when you come around the bend they hit you with radar.Seems like they are there more on holidays and the end of the month.

RT 219, 4 miles south of Ridgway. Actually any where from Brandy Camp to Ridgway.

Ridgway, PennsylvaniaJul 18, 20030 Comments

The most common spot is as you round a bend going North on 219 they set behind a storage facility about 1/4 mile ahead on the right. State Police also set between the buildings. There are several other sports between Brandy Camp and Ridgway where they sit behind trees in parking lots, driveways, and side roads. The State Police Station is at the summit of the hill. They’ve also been know to just sit in their parking lot to nab speeders.
