Spring Township, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Police sit on the entrance to 222 and bust speeders going through the underpass. There is at least once or twice a month where about six police cars will line up like bumper cars waiting for the lunch crowd traffic. This effort is in conjunction with Spring, Cumru, Wyomissing, West Reading and State police and continues to the next onramp.

After using Interstate 80 (65mph) this connector Route into State College drops down to 55 mph. Will pull over two at a time. Be alert.

After exiting Interstate 80 towards Bellefonte, PA, heading south on Route 220, the speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH. There are only two signs for the first 3 miles of the speed reduction. The state police are often on the median near Mile Marker 82.
