Lawndale, CaliforniaMar 20, 20100 Comments

Officer hides 100 feet north of I-405, on and off ramps, on the east side of Inglewood Blvd. Everyone who makes a U-turn at the intersection of the In-N-Out Burgers will be pulled over and ticketed. The Officer also parks on I-405 overpass above Inglewood. He then tickets drivers entering the I-405. People who cross the double yellow lines of the turn lane at the intersection are also ticketed. Remember the Motorcycle Officer is hiding and he will ticket you.

Inglewood Avenue near 167th Street

Heading N/bound toward the 405 is a regular trap on this strip of Inglewood Avenue. I have most constantly seen a motorcop sitting on 167th Street (just past Artesia Blvd, speed gun pointing and ready.
As there is only one potential stop (an occasional red light @ 166th st), the traffic flow is pretty good and you can easily get caught up and pass the 40 mph speed limit. Be ware, as I have noticed recently they are moving streets; I saw 2 motor cops hiding out on 166th last week.

Motorcycle cop sits on 153rd Place just south of Inglewood Avenue and catches people coming off the 405 freeway and heading out onto Inglewood. There is Lawndale High School up the street and they catch the students speeding and the parents running late that are speeding to get their kids to school.
