Lemon Grove, California Speed Traps
Mallard off Federal Blvd
Motorcycle cop usually sits at half way point on the hill on Mallard. Usually there during morning hours while folks are heading to work.
Broadway and Massachusetts
Sheriff sits at the Payless Shoe Store waiting for people to turn left from Broadway onto Massachusetts after the light turns red. Also turning right from Broadway onto Massachusetts it’s a "No Turn On Red" and there are Sheriffs parked in the Rite Aid parking lot waiting for people to turn right there.
Corner of Barton Dr. and Dayton Dr.
The Sheriffs catch folks speeding up&down Barton Dr. between Englewood & Ensenada all the time because they know it’s a favorite shortcut to get to Skyline Dr. and then on towards gorgeous Spring Valley…watch out peeps for da ray-dah! Que malo!
Camino de las Palmas at Palm
If you turn onto Camino de las Palmas from Palm Avenue beware the stop sign. It’s a stupid place to put a sign, the cross street is only 1 block long, but there it sits. A motorcycle cop likes to sit at the top of the hill to the right and catch folks making "California stops".
Washington St. at Golden Avenue
Motorcycle cop hides near the stop sign next to the Methodist church with a radar gun. Speed limit is 25 but you have to be on the brakes to be going that slow, as Washington St. starts to go downhill. I see him there quite often.
