Tesla Road at Alameda County line   Livermore, California

This is a commute road from I-580 into the back side of Livermore. It is Corral Hollow road at 580, then changes to Tesla Road by the Carnegie SVRA. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 as you enter Alameda County heading west, but there appears to be no road changes that warrant the speed limit change. The police sit around the bend in the road during early mornings and afternoons (commute times) and pull commuters over in groups. Always reduce your speed to around 50 when entering Alameda County on Tesla Road.

580 Eastbound El Charro Road   Livermore, California

Not a speed trap per se, but the CHP is hiding so when you slow to take the right turn, he stops you for running the red light saying you have to stop and then turn. Granted, there is no sign stating that you have to stop at the red, or turn on green only. I don't know if they are allowed this, but it is definitely a trap. By the time he finished my ticket and I found a safe place to turn back around on the freeway, another car was pulled over.

Concannon Blvd & Epson Street   Livermore, California

Not a speed trap but a Stop sign advisory. Livermore PD may sit on Epson street (between Holmes & Arroyo) and watch for cars going either direction on Concannon Blvd to make sure they come to a complete stop. Eastbound on Concannon toward Tesla Road is more targeted; if you are westbound heading toward Holmes, you should see the police car/motorcyle and no excuse to get stopped. Pause for at least 1 second after coming to a complete stop, otherwise the officer will cite. I was behind 1 driver slow then roll through and he was pulled over.

N Mines Rd between First St and East Ave   Livermore, California

Theres Motorcycle Cops that hide by Lowes hardware waiting for people to speed down the overpass, and on the south side of the overpass, theres an officer who hides on his motorcycle in the bushes with his radar gun. Apparently residents asked him to monitor "Commuter Traffic".
