Coming into Columbia on Elmwood Ave from I-126. Just coming over the hill beginning around 6:15-6:30am an officer is often parked between Wayne St. and Gadsden St. on the right by the Lizard's Thicket. By the time you crest the hill, they will have you before you see them.

Interstate 126 near Greystone Street   Columbia, South Carolina

Coming out of Columbia on I-126 during rush hour at the Zoo exit, officers will stand on the overpass hiding between two large signs while police cars are waiting on the other side on ramp to nab speeders. Very tough to see them running the radar since there is no car on top of the overpass and only a foot or so between the signs.
