Leaving August, SC going into Williston, SC on US 78.

The speed changes on US 78 going into Williston from 55 to 45 then at the town before you have time to slow down the 35 MPH sign pops up and cops zap you. My suggestion is that 1/2 mile prior to the town to have a caution yellow flashing sign that says “approaching town limits of 35 MPH”. This would help lots of law abiding citizens tremendously and would add to the safety of towns, pedestrians and drivers. Some of these plain black/white speed limit signs blend in with the streets and environment colors now that drivers are use to seeing florescent yellow/orange/red signs for potentially dangerous/deadly areas/curves/speeds/etc on the highways. Denmark and Cottageville South Carolina the same drama. Hurts families budget especially if that’s groceries for the month. It is truly the talk of these small towns. I have family and friends all through there and grew up in a small town in SC and go through small towns all the time. They are my home and I love SC.

As you pass the 35 MPH sign you come over a slight rise in the road, and bingo, there the cops are.
