Wagner, South Dakota Speed Traps

There is a city cop with a tan colored car that sits underneath a tree in the city park by the lake. He’s there ALL THE TIME during the day. Speed limits there drop from 65 to 40, and he shows NO tolerance. He also sits in the Northwest Veterinary Parking Lot on the east side of town. As you leave town heading east, he’ll get you right where the zone changes from 30 to 45 when you’re speeding up.

Traffic flows through town on the way to or from casino 8 mi west. Speed drops from 65 to 30 mph, & it is fiercely enforced.
