Clinton, Tennessee Speed Traps

Radar across the street from cemetery, just across hill next to church. You don’t see them until its to late. Speed limit 25mph.

The speed limit was recently reduced to 35 mph from 45 mph here for some unknown reason. There IS a head start school here but the speed limit is for 24 hours per day. A friend recently got caught doing the old speed limit and was fined a pretty hefty amount by the Clinton PD. Even worse if you aren’t doing the 25 mph speed when the yellow school zone lights are flashing. Very frequent radar here.

Clinton PD cars hide over a small hill next to the railroad tracks across from the Big K store. Anyone headed north bound will be on top of them before they know it. 45 mph zone but most drivers do more than that. Hefty fines!

A favorite of the newer cops in Clinton. They blend in with the building and can shoot cars coming from both directions. Many motorists don’t even see them when they drive by. Very stealthy.

Cars hide on the grassy area between the twin bridges west of the end of the bridges. Coming west you don’t see them until you are caught. This is where a 55mph speed limit drops to a 45 mph speed limit but officers won’t listen to you…they just keep writing the ticket.
