Cowan, Tennessee Speed Traps

US Highway 41A within the city limits of Cowan is a speedtrap. The speed limits go from 55Mph to 45MPH to 30Mph, all within a few hundred feet. Cowan is a small one horse town, that uses radar as a means to increase city revenue. The Police Dept. competes to win awards/equipment from the state by the number of tickets written.
