Traveling south on 321 speed drops from 55mph to 40mph in a very short distance before Hwy 70. Lenoir City limits start upon crossing Hwy 70. Area is patroled by Tn Hwy Patrol, Loudon Sherrif’s Dep. and Lenoir City Police. Beware, they all want your money….

Speed drops from 55 to 40 in short distance on four lane road were there is very no congestion.
I-40 East at Industrial Park Road
State troopers like to sit on the backside of the berm just past the Industrial Park Road crossover where you cannot see them until it’s too late.
Old Highway 95, which runs from Hwy 321 to Hwy 11
The Lenoir City Police lurk in several locations on this road. The speed limit is 30 mph.
Hwy 321 South Bound between I-40 & I-75
After exiting off of I-40 onto Hwy 321, the speed limit is 55. However, the speed limit soon changes to 40mph as you approach Lenoir City. Police patrol this area looking for unsuspecting people that might have missed the lower speed transition (like me).
