Lexington, Tennessee Speed Traps

County deputies park under bridge, behind supports, making them almost impossible to see until it is too late. (especially westbound).

The City of Lexington has decided to raise money for the police dept. by issuing speeding tickets. The recently completed 4 lane with turn lane Hwy 22 North as well as US 412 through Lexington is being patrolled. They say they are trying to save lives but they speed traps are set up out in the rural part of the City away from the congested areas where accidents take place.

Stretch going north just out-of-town.. they lowered the speed to 50 for miles…. even though you are out of town… uses it for $$$ for revenue…
