Speed changes from 55 to 35 quickly near the sock factory. Female officer who I believe is the police Chief sits just at the location where it changes to 35. I’ve seen people pulled over there 100 times, never realized what was going on until it happened to me. No previous tickets, accidents, warnings or anything and I was issues a $163 ticket for doing 44 in the 35. Not worth trying to fight it as I know they are doing this for revenue, no judge is going to overturn it even though that was my first offense.

Really abrupt speed limit change with a cop waiting right at the edge. I narrowly avoided a big ticket because I was stuck behind a farmer’s truck. I was annoyed until I saw the speed trap…my thanks to that farmer, he saved me a lot of money.

Small city off interstate 75 north/south exit 60 that gets 80% of its city budget from speeding tickets. Tennessee State hwy.11 runs for 3 miles through the city and the small town police strictly enforce a 35 mile per hour speed limit. Used to be 45 and was lowered without warning a few years ago.

you might aswell put your car on cruise control for what ever the speed limit is. They will catch you for hardly anything over. This is a city wide theme. Drive slow!
