They have recently changed all the side road speed limit to 20 mph. This enables them to give out a lot of tickets to people that are used to the old speed limit.

Petersburg is a small town and if you do not see the speed limit signs you won’t even know you are in a township. They need the money so don’t expect them to cut any slack. The young cop there is a barney.

LEO sits behind a church and frequently clocks people coming and clocking vehicles going away from them. Speed jumps down from 55mph to 45mph and if you merge off going into the town of Petersburg, it drops all the way down to 30mph from 45mph. Right at about the 1.0 M.M south of the Lincoln/Marshall Co. line on US431.
