State Highway 64 bypass near Hillside Hospital
The 40 MPH sign is obscured by vegetation and a curve in the road. The motorist has very little time to see the sign < 2 seconds. The officer sits to the left beside a sign just after the entrance to Hillside Hospital
State Highway 31A North near US Highway 31
Highway 31A intersects with Highway 64 on the north end of Pulaski. 31A is posted at 55 then drops to 45 with regular speed limit signs then it drops to 30MPH on a down hill grade coming into Hwy. 64, this limit is posted only with the hill grade and no other posting of a speed change. At the bottom of the hill is a traffic light and across the street in a direct line with the hill is an auto body shop. Almost nightly there is a city police officer sitting there with his radar trained on the hill. 35 mph will get you a ticket and city court will uphold it regardless of your appeal that the speed sign is obscure and difficult to recognize.
