State Highway 74 near State Route 371   Mountain Center, California

Worse part of this highway, patrol by CHP, is Hwy 74 from Hwy 243, through Mountain Center, through the Lake Hemet area, through the Garner Valley area, past the Hwy 371 turn off to Anza, on the way to Desert Center for a couple of miles past the 371. Approx. 20 miles total. Fairly remote mountain road with lots of straight areas easy to speed on, and lots of hills and trees for them to hide!
