Northbound I-35W Grandview + 6 minutes north   Alvarado, Texas

White Crown Vic on your right hand along the northbound interstate I-35W. The grass embankment between feeder and interstate is smooth enough to allow a robust car like the vic, to enter from the hillside perpendicular to the interstate. The spot is about 7 miles north of Grandview and some 3.8 miles before reaching the I-35W x Hwy 67 junction at Alvarado.

Interstate I-35   Alvarado, Texas

Patrol cars sit just beyond crests of hills on I-35, and when traffic comes over the rise it's hit with the radar gun. Out of state cars are singled out, even when going with the mostly Texas tagged"flow."""

State Highway I-35W near Exit Number 21   Alvarado, Texas

Beware of the twins running radar in a silver truck. Just before entering into the city limits located in or about the 21 north mile-marker. The truck sits off on the east side of the highway watching north traffic looking like the truck is for sale.

N Cummings Drive near Between the jr. high and elementary   Alvarado, Texas

All of N Cummings Dr between the jr. high and elementary has recently been changed to a school zone with a 20 mph speed limit. I believe the time is 7 AM to 9 AM (not sure), and 2 PM to 4 PM. The police car hides in a subdivision between the two schools.

Speeding Tickets

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
