Harrison from Goodnight to Wheeler Avenue near 10th street   Aransas Pass, Texas

From Goodnight going northwest on Harrison and from Harrison going west on Wheeler there are no speed signs until near 10th street on Wheeler which is a 40 mph sign, however the speed limit from Goodnight to that sign on Wheeler is 30 mph, although there are no 30 mph signs depicting that is the speed limit.

ave. A to 35 bypass   Aransas Pass, Texas

the speed limit is 30, they know you have to speed up to enter the highway where everyone is going 70 mph they sit and wait to catch people trying to merge into the faster traffic.

FM 1069 near Highland Avenue   Aransas Pass, Texas

The 1/4 mile section on 1069 near Highland ave. has two different speed limits depending on which way you are traveling. This is strange because it is a two lane undivided road. The northbound lane speed limit is 55mph and the southbound lane speed limit is 45mph. The Trooper sits or travels northbound to clock cars traveling southbound in the slower lane. There are signs listing the correct speed limit but you must pay attention because if you just travelled north you were allowed to go 55mph and when you are heading back south on the same road the limit is 45mph. I was with my 9mo pregnant wife when she recieved a citation in this area. On the court date there were 3 other people that received tickets in the same exact area on the same day.

State Highway 361 near Wheeler Street   Aransas Pass, Texas

Right at the bridge going toward Port Aransas. The cops sit on either side of the bridge and get you. I have seen them pulled over as early as 4 a.m. Definitely do the 40 MPH both ways!

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
