Not a speed trap, but a trap nevertheless   Bacliff, Texas

When you are approaching Bacliff on Hwy 646, you have a traffic light at 146 and 646. This road is only two lanes. There is a paved shoulder by the unused railroad track. There is a sign that says "DO NOT DRIVE ON SHOULDER"; however, very few people pay attention. They drive on that shoulder to the right and I don't know where all of the law enforcement are hiding, but they catch you. If you are going to turn right, be sure and stay on the one lane on 646 and turn from that lane. Some days they hand out numerous tickets for that offense. I believe it is targeted a certain time of the day, but you are never safe!!!

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
