Margarite is 75 feet from the 45mph sign. The police set beside a building at the corner of hwy 34 and margarite. For those thinking of speeding up to make the transition from 30 to 45mph heading east on hwy 34, beware.

This town has a one Chief of Police Department and some reserves. They like hiding by the R&R tracks get you coming from Avalon and Ennis. Speed limit drops rapidly down to 30 mph
