US Highway 287 thru town near hwy thru town   Bowie, Texas

one short block in the center of town is 10mph less than the rest. Cop tailgated me and soon as I spotted the slower sign, stepped on my brakes. Instantly he lit me up. Ticket was $160.
I was legal all the way, even this. No tolerance at all. "tell it to the judge in 30 days"". 600 mile drive?? they know you'll just pay it rather than make the drive to court to protest.
This 10mph drop in speed limit goes right back up within 200 feet or so."
