Old Mill Rd park near lakeline Blvd   Cedar Park, Texas

Only stretch of Old Mill that drops to 25 mph. They will sit along road or in parking lot of community center. Favorite spot for all types of law enforcement--constables, sherrifs, and police. Don't know why we need so many officers ticketing from this one speed trap!

Hatch Road hill slopes down from RR 620   Cedar Park, Texas

Hatch Road is wide and slopes down. Officers will park at daycare parking lot or in woods across from ballfields and catch drivers as they naturally accelerate down the hill. You will always see them pointed towards the cars coming down the hill, not in the opposite direction. That's why this is such a good trap for them. Keep your foot on the brake, 30 mph all the way!

US HWY 183A Toll Plaza   Cedar Park, Texas

Motorcycle cops hide behind closed toll booths on both sides of the road with radar guns. They often play tag team with one cop gunning, and the other busting.

On 1431 just east of Cottonwood (between Parmer and 183)   Cedar Park, Texas

Police sit less than .2 miles past the location where the speed limit changes from 60 to 45 going west and hit you with radar as soon as you are at the sign. Their lights go on before you even pass them. I got a ticket there and have seen at least 20 others. There is a traffic light right after that (at Cottonwood) and a major shopping area so everyone has to slow down right away... meaning it is not an area where speeding is an issue. Definitely a speed trap.
