on new sectiong of crestway between FM78 and FM1516   Converse, Texas

its a section of road that is lined with privacy fences for the subdivisions on each side. There's 4 different entrances to the subdivisions. Bexar County Sheriff's like to hide in these entrances, and because of the fences, you won't see them till it's too late. The posted speed limit is 30. Sometimes, the cruiser's or a motorcycle cop will sit in the turn lane. Most of the time, they're hiding in these entrances.

FM 78 Road near Texaco N on FM 78   Converse, Texas

When going N on 78 towards Randolph AFB...speed goes from 50 to 40 right by the Texaco staion and remains 40 until past Dollar General on right hand side. Cops set up on each end of 78...clock you and radio cop ahead to stop you. This happened to someone I know.

Flatland @ Indian Mound Street near winburn Trail   Converse, Texas

Converse cops say they area having a problem with vehicle burglaries, but I know that rookie cops are using it as an excuse to supplement their income. The cops sit in a dark blind area. Last time I was pulled over for going 22 in a 20 mph, the cop then told me that if I paid him he would let me go. WATCH-OUT, BE WARNED.

FM 1976 through town   Converse, Texas

Driving down FM 1976 coming from 1604 limit drops from 50 to 40 to 30 quickly. Watch for oncoming radar from Converse PD as limit drops; coming from Kirby watch where limit goes from 55 to 40 (then to 30); they park at night with lights off waiting to nab the unsuspecting at night. You see officers in day, but not quite as much.

Speeding Tickets
