US Highway 175 West bound mornings, just before Crandall   Crandall, Texas

The Crandall PD in patrol cars, SUVs and motorcycles lay in wait just below the last hill dropping into Crandall, sometimes behind a tree on the service road. Crandall is one of the worst cities in Texas to speed. This is a money hungry town, and with the new addition of the DALLAS RACEWAY, NHRA 1/4 mile speedway, the State Troopers help out. When the track is open for the weekend, the patrol cars flock the area.

FM 148 near Entering city limits from Scurry/Warsaw   Crandall, Texas

The entire area of Crandall is excessively patrolled for speeding. They have speed drops within the minimum allowed distances. They sit on overpasses to patrol interstate 175 and have taken to posting multiple units on foot at the intersection of FM 148 & Hwy 175 to write you up for anything from your license plate holders to not wearing your seatbelt.
