Bowen Road   Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

Watch out for the dark police SUV's with their red-blue lights on opposite side of the road; driving like they are on their way to respond to something. One of them once passed me, turned around and pulled me over and very politely ticketed me for speeding! It looked like it was his last slip of the pad! I had heard about this city, now I know it first hand! BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. Once I take care of this ticket, I will be avoiding this city ALL-TOGETHER! No shopping, no groceries, no gas, no visit, nothing!

Little Road between Park Springs and Bowen   Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

Since its reconstruction, this section of Little Road always seems to have a DWG PD patrol car hiding just around the bend waiting for its next victim. The speed limit is 40 and it is highly recommended you stick to it. Technically DWG ends just east of the Park Springs intersection but that won't stop them from pulling you over just outside their city limits and ticketing you for speeding and whatever other minor but costly citations they can throw in.

Bowen Road between I-20 and 303   Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

From I-20 to Pioneer Parkway (303) on Bowen Rd. Have all of your insurance, inspections, licenses, equipment in proper shape (no vehicle defects) and don't go 1 mph over the limit. Also use your seatbelts. The same is true from Pioneer Parkway to Division (TX 180/US 80) in Pantego. (It's their "Rice Bowl").

Throughout the City   Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

DWG is also famous for ticketing infractions such as changing lanes without a turn signal, no seatbelt, expired inspection stickers, etc. And if you pull a trailer through town make sure all lights are working and the license plate is not obscured.

Bowen Road near Pioneer Pkwy to Pleasant Ridge Road   Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

Dalworthington Gardens PD has traffic enforcement on this major thoroughfare within the city of Arlington. They patrol Very heavily and at All times of day. They use vehicles which attract no attention, especially if you are not used to them. (They have SUV's, motorcycles, and passenger cars not typically used by police departments, and their light bars are all hidden behind the grill and other places.) They sit in the parking lots and side streets along Bowen Road and aggressively stop speeders. I've seen hundreds of people stopped there in the past two years. The speed limit is unrealistically low for the road conditions. For some additional revenue, since they needed it so badly, they just added a red-light camera at the intersection of Bowen and Mayfield Roads also. ***Beware*** !

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
