El Campo PD often sets up at or near Sunnyside to catch traffic coming around the curve southbound on Hwy 71 just before the speed limit goes from 40 to 45.

West Jackson Street El Campo, Texas

Local cops like to set up radar in the Wheeler Funeral Home Parking lot...just before the speed limit goes from 30mph to 40mph.

North of town on Highway 71 El Campo, Texas

On the east side of hwy. 71 a local cop will set up at D.A.M. Services in the evening and get drivers who jump past the 55mph speed limit there.

State Highway Bus 59 near US Highway 59 El Campo, Texas

Bus Hwy 59 on the East side of El Campo is subject to rather intense enforcement. I know many people to be stopped along this route by City Police. Exiting the US Highway the speeder is trapped before he realizes there is a speed change. If you must pass through El Campo, use Route 71. It's much easier to monitor your speed along that route. But be aware, this area is radar patrolled as well. It's just easier to see the speed limit signs.

US 59 El Campo, Texas

DPS Crown Vic. No detector warning. Possible VASCAR use, although Texas has no history of using it in recent memory. Got a warning because I was going less than 10 mph above the speed limit.
