On Valwood Ln between Webb Chapel & Dennis Ln   Farmers Branch, Texas

FB Police park in the median facing Westbound (across from the Recreation Center ball field). They are very actively patrolling the area as it is in a school zone. I am always very mindful of my speed especially in the school zones, so when I was pulled over, I was flabbergasted. As it turns out, the policeman (who was possibly trying to meet quota) had misread the expiration on my registration sticker which is insane because for one, I was a good 2 blocks away (not sure how anyone could see the tiny sticker that far away) and two, the expiration was not for another 7 months. I felt like I had been targeted, and his hasty decision to pull me over only resulted in his apology and my being late to work. Since then, I've noticed this area remains highly patrolled, especially in the mornings.

Southbound I-35 serviceroad 0.5mi before Valley View Ln   Farmers Branch, Texas

Southbound interstate I-35 serviceroad aka Harry Hines Blvd (one way) is the only way to access warehouses and shops along the 1 mile stretch between Valwood Pkwy and Valley View Ln. After the Army/Navy supply shop a shallow hill is followed by Valmar Way on your right hand, and the Landmark "large green lawn area" on right with landscaping warehouse, garden fountains, etc. Beware of the next hilltop just 0.1miles ahead, on your right. Crown Vic or Dodge near Hilti shop will nail you. Observed 8:45am. Laser spot. The Havenhurst Rd to Branchview Ln is a 0.7 mile loop for re-runs.

I-635 east between Valley View and Luna Rd.   Farmers Branch, Texas

Laser cop seems to be out every Sunday morning either on the north side of LBJ Fw. or on the south side clocking east bound vehicles.

All over Farmers Branch. Especially any six lane road.   Farmers Branch, Texas

On Josie and Valleyview, the speed limits are all 35 mph. These are six lane roads with medians. The police are anywhere at anytime. You almost have to ride your brake to go that slow. This is obviously a money maker for the city.

North side of LBJ access road Webb Chapel exit   Farmers Branch, Texas

On this west bound access road from Webb Chapel exit to Webb Chapel the speed limit is 40. Coming off LBJ (I-635) heading west, your speed is probably around 55/60. Better SLOW way down when you exit the freeway! This is along side the hospital. You have both the Dallas County constables and FB police working this site. Primarily they are there during daylight hours.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
