Hyway 380 heading west. The speed limit goes from 65 to 40 !

Farmersville, TexasJan 09, 20160 Comments

Hyway 380 going from west to east drops from 70 to 50 instantly & stays
At 50 all the way thru farmersville.
BUT on the opposite side of the road heading west the
Speed limit is 40. How could it possibly be safe to drive 50 on one side &
Only safe to drive 40 less than 20 feet Away ?

US 380 goes from 70mph to 60mph instantly as it crosses from Hunt Co. to Collin Co. AT the turn off to Josephine there is always a policeman either sitting there or patrolling the road. Quotas are important.

When heading east bound on 380 out of Greenville, the posted speed limit is 70 mph, there is no other change of speed limit signs till you hit Farmersville that indicates 50 mph. Apparently you have to be psychic to infer that because you crossed into Collin County, that you have to drop to 60 mph. There is no 60 mph sign posted anywhere
