NB I35W Service Road between 820 and Western Center   Fort Worth, Texas

This is a stretch of service road that has a speed limit of 40 MPH. There is only one sign where the stretch starts at Loop 820 and Beach street. Drivers rounding the bend where the service/access road curves Northbound away from 820 and Northbound along I35W between Fossil Creek Road and Western Center Blvd. are clocked by motor cops sitting in the Fossil Creek Theater parking lot. Once clocked, an officer simply steps into the road in front of the driver and directs him into the parking lot where anywhere from 2 to 5 fellow officers are writing tickets as fast as they can. This trap catches multiple drivers usually during the morning hours and early afternoon at least 3-4 times a week and always involves 2 or more officers hiding behind the bush line along the south end of the theater parking lot. Unless you are looking for them, you will never see them before it is too late. They beat this spot to death for it's being a terrific revenue generator for the city.

North bound on James Avenue between Fuller & Seminary   Fort Worth, Texas

This is an almost oppressively long school zone. I have seen the same policeman parked there practically every other morning for years (and sometimes he brings a few friends along too). How he operates is that he hides just behind a large Baptist church building on the east side of James Ave. that looks as if it was built right up to the 'build line' on the property. Basically, if you are going north on James Ave. (and you're not being overly observant) he will see you (and clock you) before you even know he's there.

35W & North Freeway   Fort Worth, Texas

I've spotted a motorcycle police officer hiding behind the corner in front of the NTB. He catches people going over 30 mph and pulls them over. This is a 4-lane fwy and the speed limit is 30. Most people are still going 65 after exiting off 35W to enter Basswood Blvd or visit the Home Depot near by.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
