Southbound Northwest blvd@Riverbend

Georgetown, TexasAug 27, 20140 Comments

Georgetown pd parks a dark color suv on the northbound Northwest side curbline under the shade tree. This makes it look like a regular car parked on the street. Speed limit is 30 and there is a hill going southbound and you dont see them until the last sec.

As you approach this over pass georgetown pd and DPS have been running laser on the right side of the road in the construction area.Speed limit is 70 and they only run it at night time around 10-11pm and later.

Williams Drive West of 35

Georgetown, TexasDec 01, 20130 Comments

This is a graduated speed zone just West of the 35. The speed limit is 35mph past Auto Zone, then switches to 45mph around CVS Pharmacy (on R still heading W), then to 50mph down past Shell Rd. If you are heading E at that CVS Pharmacy…it shows 40mph going into the 35mph zone towards 35.
Good luck. It is a speed trap if you are driving at a reasonable rate of speed for road conditions present on that day and you are driving with the flow of traffic.

I-35 NB, Exit 266

Georgetown, TexasJul 05, 20130 Comments

Right before Exit 266, which takes you to the old gas station, and a left turn takes you to Hwy 195 West towards Florence. On the right shoulder, in plain view with the laser gun. You don’t see him until after the rise in the road… but they wait there because the speed limit goes from 70 back up to 75, and they get you for 1-3 MPH over the limit. Sometimes they are a mile further.

I-35 NB, the ON ramp right before the Williams Dr overpass

Georgetown, TexasJul 05, 20130 Comments

Where the ON ramp merges into I-35, about 20 feet before going under the Williams Dr overpass. Right there, in plain sight with the Laser gun…. probably going to cause an accident sometime by making people "panic" when they hit the brakes to slow down.
