East bound FM1960 at 59 Eastex Freeway   Humble, Texas

They show a Construction zone and lower speed right before a red light camera intersection. After driving in all directions (NESW) four at least four miles there is no construction going on now for several months prior, when I received a letter in the mail stating I ran the light. Note this is a six lane road. How can they show a construction zone, when there is no construction and reduce the speed for no apparent reason than to trap drivers. Note these signs are very small and if you are in far left lane you won't see them, or there is an eighteen wheeler in the next lane with a box trailer. You still think the speed limit is still 45 miles per hour, you just run the red light because the yellow to red is set low at 3.0 seconds. People in Humble Texas can check it out for yourself,

59 south 1960 exit   Humble, Texas

Two cops post up and wait for people getting off freeway. I see them pull almost 50 people over a day probably more. make sure you slow down as soon as you start getting off the freeway for 1960 south bound on 59 or you will get a ticket.

Atascocita Rd between Beltway 8 and Wilson   Humble, Texas

Once on Atascocita rd heading towards Wilson road the speed limit is 40mph. Once you pass the Valero gas station the speed limit drops to 35mph. Just the other day I saw a state trooper driving between the road from the Valero to Wilson Road. He was going back and forth. Plus Humble PD sits in the Security business parking lot across from the manufacturing company all the time.

FM 1960 at SH 59 overpass   Humble, Texas

Traveling east bound on FM 1960 at the State Hwy 59 overpass, the speed is 45 mph but as you go down hill from the overpass the speed drops to 35 and there is always a patrol car sitting either in the business parking lot or at the carr lot at the bottom of the hill. This is a very busy road and they can sit there and write tickets at liesure all day, every day, because you literally have to apply brakes to get under the limit.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
