Hwy 174   Joshua, Texas

Heading south on 174 in Joshua when the speed limit changes from 55 to 45 or headed north at the same spot Joshua police like to sit out at the Big Willys gas station on the northbound side and sometimes will sit out across the street around the car lot and Texaco gas station. I have seem them get many people at that spot, especially after school when the buses are running.

Main Street near US Highway 174   Joshua, Texas

Joshua Texas, Main street, 30mph to 20mph. Police sit at the Church parking lot under trees waiting at the area of the 20mph change. If you are unfamilliar as I was at the time 30 to 20 was very abrupt. I had no prior tickets, a clean record, but was given a $250.00 ticket for 30 in a 20.

Highway 174 South and North Bound Multiple locations   Joshua, Texas

At the mini storage bulding, the church parkiing lot right before you enter Cleburne city limits for those southbound, and right as soon as you enter Joshua city limits for those northbound. Basically, if you are going to go through Joshua on HWY 174 then do the posted speed limit!! No permanent place for them to sit, it varies. They are looking specifically for drunk drivers... but will stop anyone for anything at all... the typical small town procedure.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
