Heritage Trace and Moncrief/Van Zandt   Keller, Texas

Officers hide in the shade of the trees lining Heritrage Trace and then have other officers waiting on motorcycles. They run out into the street to direct you to pull down Moncrief to ticket you. There are no warnings, they clog our neighborhood streets and honestly it seems very unsafe. Their motorcycles parked on one side of Moncrief, large vehicles that they pull over on the other side of the street. Not safe at all for the cycles, officers ticketing or other drivers on the road. The speed limit is 35 mph on Heritage Trace. Watch your speed always - or plan on being ticketed.

Dove Road between Pearson Lane & JT Ottinger Rd.   Keller, Texas

They sit in the entrance to a small subdivision between JT Ottinger and Pearson...between the Tuscany-looking home on the hill and the Fire Dept. just after the creek--mostly cruisers, but on rare occasion, motocycles. They tuck back behind the tree line and you can't see them until you are right up on them.

Highway 114 (W NW Pkwy)   Keller, Texas

West bound 114, a police motorcycle/car will sit on the bridge behind the railing going over Dove Rd. catching drivers on 114 west bound. It makes me sick!

Whitley Road near Between Wall-Price and Bear Creek Road   Keller, Texas

Whitley Road from Wall-Price to Bear Creek Parkway heading north you go down a hill. You will find radar on both sides of the road behind trees, walls, etc. Speed Limit is 30 MPH and I have lived here for over 2 years and have seen as many as 5 cars pulled over every day. They hide in the nursing home parking lot and in West Park Subdivision to catch speeders going north and south.

Dove Road Street near Pearson/ Hwy 114 Street   Keller, Texas

Dove Road between Pearson and Hwy 114 especially behind Vaquero. Keller Police are paid by the City of Westlake,Tx to enforce this section of road which is set at 30 mph. They patrol this with cars and motorcycles heavily and have gotten quite creative by hiding up in the entrances of Vaquero and Glenwyck Farms. They will hit you with both moving radar as this was what was written on my wife's citation and they have set off my detector numerous times with both Laser and Ka band. If you travel this road make sure that you set your cruise control to 29 mph if you are able. They use the excuse of safety complaints from the HOA (Homeowners Assoc.)of both Vaquero and Glenwyck Farms as the reason for them to cite speeders. I know this to be untrue as I am President of Vaquero HOA. The fine for speeding even if you are only doing 31 mph is $97.00 + $5 for each mile over the limit.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
