Unmarked blue charger sitting on side of road. He’ll nail you for 10 over maybe less. City is broke. They won’t give you a warning!

Where Main Street and Junction Highway come together

Kerrville, TexasDec 28, 20130 Comments

In Kerrville there is a section called 5 points. This is where 5 streets come together. The main roads are where Main Street and Junction Highway change names. This also is where Wells Fargo Bank is located. The speed limit goes from 30-35 mph. The KPD sits between the buildings out of site behind the subway/floral shop and waits for individuals that are not paying attention. Our Mayor Jack Pratt states we don’t have speed traps! Ha!

City of Kerrville

Older citizens by City Police: Failure to use your turn signal, fine is $198. Do not argue with them: failure to come to a complete dead stop, failure to yield right of way….and the one that has already been posted that says you will not be issued a ticket on the spot in the event of a fender bender…everyone leaves and days later you are both ticketed and possibly arrested for leaving the scene of an accident…it appears the city of Kerrville is desperate for funds and lots of elderly people with money makes it possible to obtain it…plus lots of tourists…it does no good to complain..I tried…They are driving those black “bat man” cars and will scare the —-out of you by using their fog horn or whatever you call that thing…maybe they are trying to pay for their new cars…what a bad rap for Kerrville.

The speed limit has been reduced in the last few months from 55 mph to 45 mph. Add to this that Kerrville PD has several unmarked cruisers in the fleet (several of wich are the new Chargers and in several factory colors) you are cruising right by them before you even see them.

The entire city of Kerrville, Tx

Don’t drive in Kerrville, Tx. If you get pulled over for any reason, tail lite out, sticker expired, five miles over the limit, chances are you will be let go after your license information is recorded. Then two weeks later you will have a warrant issued for your arrest for whatever the infraction was. You go to jail, have to post a bond and if you are from out of town, you have to travel back to Kerrville to be arraigned by the City or County prosecutor. Then you get to either pay a hefty fine or have a trial set. Big time business in Kerrvillle.
