WESTBOUND CRYSTAL FALLS PARKWAY AFTER BAGDAD RD INTERSECTION   Leander, Texas

THE CITY OF LEANDER WELCOMES OUT-OF-TOWN GOLFERS TO THE CRYSTAL FALLS GOLF COURSE WITH A SPEED TRAP. CRYSTAL FALLS PARKWAY IS 40 MPH THRU A RESIDENTIAL AREA THEN AFTER THE BAGDAD ROAD INTERSECTION CHANGES TO 30 MPH ON A SLIGHT DOWN HILL SECTION THRU AN UNDEVELOPED AREA BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE CRYSTALL FALLS COURSE. NOT A PLEASENT WAY TO START A ROUND OF GOLF.

Block House Creek Drive   Leander, Texas

Williamson County sheriffs routinely have speed traps up and down Block House Creek Drive. Mainly by Block House Creek Drive and Creek Run ( by the elementary school), and also by the park along Block House Creek Drive ( by the BMX bike track ). Cedar Park and Leander police have no jurisdiction in Block House, thus you will only see Williamson County sheriffs.

On Bagdad between Municipal and Market Rd 2243   Leander, Texas

Heading from the Municipal Dr/Bagdad intersection (one of the exits from Westview Meadows Subdivision) towards Market Rd 2243 the speed limit is 40 mph on Bagdad. Especially at night the police officer will park in the parking lot of the first business on the right and tag you as you come over the hill. They aren't shy about giving you a ticket for going 45+ mph there.

US Highway 183A near Crystal Falls Parkway   Leander, Texas

Going North on 183A, between New Hope Rd. and Crystal Falls Pkwy. there is a small overpass crosses a creek. On the right a concrete wall blocks the drivers view and Leander PD sits behind the wall, off the road, and tag drivers as they zip by. The driver would never see the cop unless they look in their rear view mirror.

West South Street near US Highway 183   Leander, Texas

West South Street is between US Hwy 183 and Bagdad. It runs through the Westview Meadows subdivision. I live midway on the street and Leander PD is always on the street. The police station is just down the road and they use the street as a go-to for Bagdad Rd. You better stop at every stop sign and the speed limit is 30 mph, not one mile over. I must see a dozen cars pulled over in front of my house alone every week, and that's when I home in the evenings and weekends.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
