Town of Lone Oak   Lone Oak, Texas

The cop sits in town in a 50 MPH zone pointing south and radars cars that are still in a 70 MPH zone outside the city limit and then pulls you over for doing 20 over.

State Highway 69   Lone Oak, Texas

Oh yeah, this town has a HIGH enforcement of the 55mph speed limit. There is a cop sitting at the high school or town square all day, every day, without fail, radaring every vehicle taking the dare to go through the town on highway 69. The cop will pull you over for as little as 3 miles over the 55mph limit.

This Trap has been well used for many years.I have always just tried to go well below the posted speed limit that changes from 40 to 50. But this officer has been known to pull over people for bogus reasons. It will do no good to fight the tickets. They also hide down side streets and rock piles.

Decreasing speed limit signs are close together and from the north, hidden by tree limbs; local cop is the major source of income for the community; out of state tags are always good targets
