Pacifica, California Speed Traps

Pacifica PD use radar at this location and often come out to the shoulder to point the radar gun. The cruiser is usually parked out of sight in the old Greyhound bus pull out. It is very hard to see them here and when you do, it’s usually too late to slow down. There is no visual deterrent here, it’s all about catching speeders.

Cops are waiting on the turnoffs, lots of blind turns so when you see them its already too late.

Local Cops sit on Roberts Road back a little from the stop sign and radar or visual cars coming down the hill on Fassler (north bound) to Hwy 1 stop light. Sometimes early morning while still dark before sunrise.

A patrol car regularly sits up the hill a bit on Roberts Road obscured by the local store to catch any vehicles coming off Hwy-1 not making a full stop.

Police often park just up the block from any of the stop signs on the way down the hill. Complete stops at all signs as well as seat belt laws strictly enforced
