Either set up on Walton at the bridge about a quarter mile from hwy.96 or at the end of Walton Rd. near the hwy 69 traffic light.Amazing that LPD would put so much emphasis on a quiet residential area while drivers are speeding through town down main street all day and night! Did I say Podunk,Tx?!

If driving down Chance Road West it is a rare occurence if you dont pass either a cop car on the road, or one parked shooting the radar.

State Highway 69/96 near City Limit Signs   Lumberton, Texas

Drive the posted limits 45 on Hwy 96 and 55 on Hwy 69. Lumberton is a bedroom community and cops have nothing to do other than drive around with radar on looking for speeders. Be very careful in the High School Zone across from Wal

State Highway 69/96 near Cooks Lake Road   Lumberton, Texas

If you're coming in to Lumberton from Beaumont (going north), there's a State Trooper and local Constable who both use the same spot by the overpass next to Cooks Lake Road. If you speed through there between 11pm and 6am you're almost guaranteed a ticket.
