US Highway 84 near US Highway 70   Muleshoe, Texas

Muleshoe regularly has radar set up late at night and they will stop you for anything they can think of, including speeding. The entire LE community is involved -- Texas DPS, Bailey County SO, and Muleshoe PD. If you're going through Muleshoe late at night, be sure all your lights are working and don't speed at all.

Highway 84 through the entire town   Muleshoe, Texas

Returning to Clovis, New Mexico from Lubbock, Texas around 1145 at night. In February, 2002, I was stopped in the middle of Muleshoe by Texas DPS (highway patrol), and given a written warning because my license plate light was burned out. Only thing is that it was NOT burned out, it was working normally, and I showed the highway patrolman this. He didn't even slow down, he continued with the warning. Next, in March, 2002, I was again stopped for the license plate light, this time by Muleshoe PD. As I was coming into town, he met me, pulled onto the median BEFORE I GOT TO HIM (meaning he couldn't tell if the light was working or not), turned his lightbar on, and then he turned around and chased me down. Makes me wonder if they're just looking for an excuse to pull people over.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
