No warning, it went from 75-40. I haven’t gotten a speeding ticket in 10 years. I was driving 69, which is well below the previous speed limit, (and I was driving well below the speed limit the whole way cause I was in a 16′ moving truck) set me back $289. I called to contest, and they offered me to sign an affidavit saying that if I don’t get a ticket in 90 days anywhere in the US, the fine would only be $134. When I asked why they don’t have more warning the judge gaslit me and told me that it goes 75, 55, 45 (I promise I didn’t see that anywhere). I drove though dozens of these towns and that was the standard. This was not the case here or if it was, they are not well marked. Shame on them for relying on out of towners to pay their bills, because they want to keep living in a small town in the middle of nowhere…

US Highway 60 East and West Bound near Entering The Town of Panhandle , Tx. Carson County

Panhandle, TexasOct 17, 20040 Comments

Entering Panhandle , Tx. (Carson County) East Bound all the way through White Deer , Tx. until (Gray County) Pampa Tx. And the same going West Bound from Pampa Tx. That stretch of road ( 30 Miles ) is patroled by the Texas DPS ( State Troopers) Local P.D. and both County Sheriff . All I can say is while your in that part of Texas follow all the laws as they are written exactely ! And be careful of the snitches on cell phones they write tickets just on there word ! Its really bad there .
