Will stop you if they think you are only one (1) mile over the limit, with a hefty fine. Has to be temporarily great for the city budget, until it impacts business. If you live here, you probably found out the hard way, and, if you don't live here, find another highway or don't take a chance on the speedometer being off.

Poth City Police regularly patrol Hwy 181 through the length of the city limits.

US Highway 181 Northbound near Overpass   Poth, Texas

Watch out going Northbound 181 at the overpass south of Poth. County Sheriff, DPS, Poth City Marshall, all of them like to sit at the bottom of the overpass and nail people as they come over the top.
