State Highway 114   Roanoke, Texas

Roanoke PD will sit on the back side of a hill, with No lights on. I have even seen them over the white line. This is extremely dangerous with the high volume of Hwy 114.

Henrietta Creek Street near US Highway 377   Roanoke, Texas

This is a commercial area that used to be residential. Speed limit is 30 but should be 35 to 45. It is heavily used by trucks and they will get you for 1 mph over. They sit out there at shift changes for the local warehouses and get the employees most of whom are from out of town too. The also use roving officers. Be very careful on this street.

State Highway 377 near State Highway 114   Roanoke, Texas

Roanoke police love to sit along 377 or 114 down below hills so they can trap speeders as they top the hill. A lot of times they will stake out the junction of 114 and 377

US Highway 377 near US Highway 114   Roanoke, Texas

If you are traveling south from Denton, Tx on 377 (aka Old Denton Highway)...as soon as you see a 50 mph caution sign and the city sign of Roanoke Texas...you better tap the brakes, (from 60mph to 50mph).

Officer's sit in the middle of he highway, (in a yellow-lined, no parking area...thereby making a traffic hazard...) in front of a Wal-Mart as you crest the hill in AM Rush hour. This occurs just south of a 4 way stop, large bridge, merging highways, with traffic lights, before the Hwy. 377 to Hwy., and Business Hwy 114 interchange.

Parked over a hill on the right side, west bound 114 just passed hwy 377. I travel this hwy 114 everyday, this is a true statement and i`m sick of these actions by the Roanoke police.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
