Cottonwood School Road off US 59   Rosenberg, Texas

The posted speed when entering Cottonwood School Road from the northbound frontage along US59 is a hotbed of revenue for Rosenberg. The speed limit is 30 and immediately increases to 45mph just after Klauke Road, one mile down the road. If coming from the other direction, going towards US59, the speed is 45mph and drops to 30mph. The DPS officer who waits at the end of the 30mph zone to pick off offenders, is notoriously clocking them while still in the 45mph! But no one has figured this out! Most certainly a speed trap!

HWY 59, South of Hwy 36   Rosenberg, Texas

The 5 miles of Hwy 59 between Beasly and Rosenberg inexplicably has a reduced posted speed to 60MPH. This area is constantly patrolled by DPS and Fort Bend County and Rosenberg PD.

US Highway 59 near State Highway 36   Rosenberg, Texas

Considerable increase in enforcement by local Rosenberg PD in the Hwy 59 stretch in Rosenberg's jurisdiction. Also, scattered DPS along 59 but that's always been the case--just Rosenberg PD has stepped up enforcement. It's 65.
