State Highway 105 near FM 326   Sour Lake, Texas

This town is known for the cops, especially if you dont live here. One usually sits on side of road in morning and pm (near video store) right after speed changes to 55 mph. Many State Troopers patrol this area too. Make sure you dont do over 65 mph at dusk on 105, they will bust you for doing even 67 mph (speaking from experience). If you dont live here - they will pull you over.. Be careful.

State Highway 105 near State Highway 326   Sour Lake, Texas

There's a new traffic light at this intersection where only a four-way stop had been. The speed limit is 35 mph and should be at least 45 mph. The police sit in ambush in the parking lots of the car dealerships (two) or the bank at the corner. DON'T RUN THAT YELLOW LIGHT! It's just as deadly as their radar.

Always present at night heading from Sour Lake into Beaumont. Speed limit goes from 35 to 45 to 55. Stay at 55 mph until the 65 mph sign has passed. Have also been know to be on the opposite side of town headed toward Cleveland.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
