249 - 1/2 mile before 2920   Tomball, Texas

They totally suck. Always hiding in the bushes and they don't always pull over the lead car (as was in my case). Nothing better to do in Tomball, apparently.

Carroll between Peach and Lovett   Tomball, Texas

There are 2 places they hide on this street, one is the church near Lovett, the other is the private business up around Howard. They lay in wait at both of these places so be careful on the whole street. I think the person who said the whole city is a speed trap is right. This small town has more cops and more tickets being issued than I have ever seen. And no one ever gots out of it. If you don't HAVE to come to this town - DON'T! Also, they are always looking to entice you into further charges - to goad you into assault or something and yes - the Texas Rangers do need to investigate this - it's rediculous. Also, has anyone noticed the flags hanging in the Municipal Court lobby? They all have 59 stars. I had just seen a video about 59 stars on the falg on youtube when I had to go for a ticket and noticed the 59 stars on the flags at Tomball Municipal. Google it and check out the court house.

Stuebener airline and 2920   Tomball, Texas

Heading west on F.M. 2920, after passing up stuebener airline there is almost always a constable waiting for speeders in the cheveron parking lot near the trees on the east side oof the parking lot. Traveling west towards tomball. Make sure you're going 55mph.

249 bypass over FM 2920   Tomball, Texas

Tomball City PD parks just beyond the highest elevation of the NB overpass over FM 2920 (where you can't see them until it's too late) because cars heading NB like to do 65+ on this short stretch when the speed limit is 55. Tomball PD has been known to give tickets for as little as 2 mph over the limit anywhere within their jurisdiction, so it's wise to obey all speed limits when driving anywhere within the city limits of the town.

249/ZION Road   Tomball, Texas

The speed trap there is the camera that monitors the intersection. I received a ticket for running a red light. This was based on a view from the mounted camera and in no way did i run the light. It was close but it changed from green to red in a very short time.Stopping would have caused a traffic accident. Then if you do not know a couple of months later you get a ticket in the mail from a private company in Arizona! The city only gets a portion of the $75.00 fine ans the "Company" gets the rest

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
