State Highway 31 near State Highway 274   Trinidad, Texas

Speed limit drops from 60 to 55 on approach to town. After passing the center of town, the speed limit drops briefly to 50 mph before resuming 60 mph as one exits the town. 50 mph speed limit sign is not prominent and easy to miss. Normal flow of traffic is ~60 mph in the 50 mph zone (which contitutes the speed trap). Police simply lie in wait with radar and pull people over. Enforcement is particularly bad on holidays.
