Police in Westworth are very aggressive...they will tailgate drivers for miles waiting for any sign of the smallest violation. Selection process is based on who they see first, I've witnessed this both personally and many times driving through. Do yourself a favor and avoid this backwater altogether!

Highway 83 outside of the NAS Fort Worth Base   Westworth, Texas

This small town is constantly setting up speed traps, it is so bad that recently they acutually stopped cars on a Wed evening doing spot checks on drivers, well that is not illegal but when you hold up traffic coming out of the base and off of a major highway it becomes a nightmare. drivers The favorite time for the speed traps is Sunday around 1 in the afternoon and at night around 9 PM
