Speed limit drops to 45 from 55 mph comming into town, both Highway Patroll and the Amador County Sheriffs Departments are very aggressive, they mean 45 MPH through town, they will pull you over for going a few miles over the speed limit, both hide on side streets and behind buildings in town along the 2 mile stretch of town where you cannot see them untill its to late,
