Hwy 190 into Woodville from the East   Woodville, Texas

Coming into Woodville on 190 the speed limit drops from 60 to 45 to 30 in a short distance. You don't see the town until you come around a bend that crosses a bridge where the sharp speed limit drop occurs. Once you see the town and begin to slow down, unless you jam on your brakes like a guilty transgressor, the cop waiting for you with his radar is likely to get your speed as above the limit. He is also likely to inflate your speed in order to run up the fine.
