Village Loop near Village Loop Westbound   Pomona, California

Motorcycle officers hang out during morning at cross street on the opposite side of the traffic flow. Posted limit is 35, most are doing at least 45. Officers swoop in and pull offenders onto a side street (this is a residential area). I saw them ticket two separate cars today and had new "customers" less than 5 minutes later. I've also see them wait about 50 yards from stop sign controlled intersection just before the hill to nab people who roll through the stop sign.

Temple Avenue near University Drive   Pomona, California

As you drive west on Temple towards Mt Sac you climb a hill and as you do the sunset is directly in your eyes as you come to the top of the hill. You cannot see the road much less your speedometer.

Interstate 10 near Just west of Highway 57   Pomona, California

10 Eastbound thru Pomona during the AM rush hour:
Coming off of Kellogg hill, when you see the 57 ahead of you and Cal Poly Pomona to the right, there is a highway patrol bike cop at the foot of the hill, next to the offramp that merges with the 57. They're too far away to spot when you're coming down the hill, and people usually punch it because it's a downslope.

10 Westbound thru Pomona during the PM rush hour:
Right after the bulk of motorists exit the freeway to merge with the 57 north, just before the foot of Kellogg Hill, right after you cross under the 57, there is a Highway Patrol bike cop sitting there with a radar gun. Since traffic just lightened up and you see a large incline in front of you, you speed up, because you know you're going to go slower because of that hill. But guess what? That cop doesn't care that you're speeding up in preparation for the incline.
